Signalment: Two-year old, female, felid.

History: Fractious cat was admitted for spay surgery. Physical exam was normal. Induction and intubation were unremarkable. As subcutaneous emphysema was noted during surgery, thoracic radiographs were taken. Surgery and recovery were uneventful.
