Dr. Frank Pipers

DVM, MS., PhD

Dr. F.S. Pipers is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed his graduate work under Dr. R.L. Hamlin.

Dr. Pipers was a faculty member at the University of Florida (1980-1985) and then Tufts University (1985-1991) where he held the joint positions of Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine as well as Chief of Cardiology. Dr. Pipers did much of the early work in echocardiography and sheppard its introduction into the veterinary diagnostics.

Dr. Pipers then was a Medical Director at Merck/Merial ((technical services-global marketing) from 1991-2001).

He then became the CEO at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospitals and finally Director of the Telecardiology Services at VDIC in 2003.
