Dr. Petrie has a special interest in the diagnosis and pathology of feline cardiomyopathies. A particular subset of this interest is identifying the functional alteration of the disease process including both diastolic and systolic function using echocardiography. He has been active in teaching small animal cardiology ultrasound courses.
