Dr. Papageorges founded Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, P.C. in 1991. Under his leadership, VDIC grew from a one man operation to a team of 38 providing radiology, cardiology and cytopathology services. Dr. Papageorges lead the development of VetMedStat, an Internet-based RIS/Telemedicine system currently used by several radiology practices.
Dr. Papageorges has authored or co-authored 59 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters on various topics including diagnostic radiology, the impact of visual perception on radiographic interpretation, ultrasonography, ultrasound-guided fine needle biopsies, and telemedicine. He has given numerous talks at national meetings and has written the book "Understanding and Using Telemedicine". His lecture series See Like You Have Never Seen Before is extremely popular and he is working on a book with the same title.
