Meet Our Team
Don Schofield- Director & General Manager Contact Don
Don joined the VDIC team in May of 2004. He is currently the Director & General Manager of Telemedicine and oversees the business operations of VDIC. Prior to coming to VDIC, Don spent the last 19 years with AAA Oregon/Idaho where he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Don holds a BS in Business Management from Linfield College, earned an MBA from Marylhurst University and is a PMD75 graduate of Harvard Business School.
Kevin Richeson- Referral Clinic Business Manager Contact Kevin
Kevin Richeson joined the VDIC team in 2006. Kevin oversees all business affairs of the referral clinic in Clackamas. Prior to joining VDIC, Kevin was the Chief Financial Officer for an international manufacturer of consumer products, and also brings specialized experience in senior financial management of international companies involved in music, food, and consumer electronics. Kevin completed his undergraduate work at Portland State University, earned an MBA from the University of Portland, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Merger & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA). Kevin and his family enjoy the beauty of the great Pacific Northwest in their spare time.
Julie Dawson- Account Manager Contact Julie
Julie joined the VDIC team in July 2006 as the Account Manager serving the west coast. She is available to help new and existing clients use all of VDICs services and products, including telemedicine, cytopathology, and the Radiograph Digital Converter (RDC). Julie earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Rhetoric and Communications from the University of Oregon. She spent 15 years working in the nonprofit and public sector before joining VDIC.
Gaye Quigley - Account Manager Contact Gaye
Gaye joined the VDIC team in February 2008 as the Account Manager serving the SW & SE territories. She is available to help new and existing clients using all of VDICs services and products, including telemedicine, cytopathology, and the Radiograph Digital Converter (RDC). She has spent the last 9 years working in the sales management side of the insurance industry before joining VDIC.
Jeryl McGee- Account Manager Contact Jeryl
Jeryl joined VDIC in February 2009 as the Account Manager serving the NE USA and Canada. She is available to help new and existing clients use all of VDICs services and products, including telemedicine, cytopathology, and the Radiograph Digital Converter (RDC). Prior to joining VDIC Jeryl worked in the travel, marketing and insurance industry for over 29 years. In her spare time Jeryl enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, trying out new recipes, walking on the beach and reading mystery novels.
Bill de Lambert- Account Manager Contact Bill
Bill joined the VDIC team in January 2010 as the Account Manager serving the Midwest. He is available to help new and existing clients use all the VDICs services. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Davis, California. He spent over 15 years in the technology industry prior to joining VDIC.
Kelvin Kulp- Account Manager Contact Kelvin
Kelvin is a graduate of the United States Military Academy of Health Sciences, Radiology Technologist program in San Antonio, Texas and then specialized in CT (CAT Scan). Honorably discharged from the Army, Kelvin continued working in Radiology and went back to school for his second sub specialty, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), and began working at Sister’s of Providence Hospital CT/MRI department in Washington State. In May of 2000 Kelvin joined VDIC, operating and training the technical staff in MRI and CT. As the company has grown so have the opportunities; you will currently find Kelvin working in the Telemedicine division, as an account manager. He is available to help all new and existing clients use all the VDICs services and products. Additionally Kelvin is able to offer application support for sites with MRI and CT, for a wide variety of issues.
Kelsey Ahern - Marketing Associate Contact Kelsey
Kelsey joined VDIC in the sales and marketing department in February of 2006. Her responsibilities include supervising the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials, including trade show coordination. In addition she also works closely with the sales team, new clients and industry partners. Kelsey is a graduate of Oregon State University with a major in animal science and a minor in business administration.
Roger Spring - IT Manager/Webmaster Contact Roger
Roger is a graduate of the Art Institute of Portland with a major in Multimedia and Web Design. He joins VDIC as our first in-house technical support staff. He is responsible for web site uptime, overseeing development of VDIC's telemedicine tool (VetMedStat), client technical support regarding VetMedStat, and general in-house computer support.
Theresa Dunn - Technical Support Specialist Contact Theresa
Theresa joined the VDIC team in July of 2009 as a technical support specialist helping clients from around globe to send telemedicine cases to VDIC. In addition, Theresa assists with account management and patient scheduling. In her free time, Theresa enjoys baking and spending time with her daughter.
Tara Rockwell - Administrative Assistant Contact Tara
Tara joined VDIC in October of 2004. She currently handles all of our billing and accounts receivables as well as answering phones. Tara has a Double Associates in Biology & Wildlife Management from Casper College. Before coming to VDIC she worked for a veterinary practice in Henderson, NV as a receptionist. She volunteers with the Rabbit Advocates and is working on becoming a foster for Pacific Pug Rescue.
Lauren Smith - Administrative Assistant Contact Lauren
Lauren joined VDIC in June of 2007 after spending the last year and a half working as a receptionist for a General Practice/Cardiology Hospital. She is one of the main phone contacts at VDIC for client support and scheduling in addition to greeting and checking in pet owners for MRI, CT, Ultrasound and I-131 appointments. Lauren has earned her degree at MHCC in the Professional Photography program and has made photography one of her favorite hobbies. Being a native Oregonian, she also loves the outdoors, camping, fishing & hiking.
Emily Evans - Receptionist Contact Emily
Emily joined VDIC in June of 2009. She is one of the main phone contacts at VDIC for client support and scheduling in addition to greeting and checking in pet owners for MRI, CT, Ultrasound and I-131 appointments.
Denise - Veterinary and CT Technician, LVT

Denise joined VDIC in January of 2008 and is a nationally registered CTV in Washington and Oregon. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 1997. Denise worked in general practice spending most of her time dedicated to Surgery and Anesthesia. Denise has special interest in imaging and is one of four technicians at VDIC that is certified to operate the CT. Denise is also one of our Assistant Radiation Safety Officers and helps orchestrate our radioiodine safety program for the treatment of cats with hypothyroidism.
Jen - Laboratory Technician

Jen joined VDIC in June of 2007, and has been in the veterinary field since 2004. Prior to joining the veterinary field, she earned an Associates degree as well as a Certificate in Office Technology. Her responsibilities at VDIC include preparing biopsies for the cytopathologists and also preparing radiographs for the radiologists. In her free time, Jen enjoys relaxing with her husband and their three dogs. Their favorite activities include camping, hiking, and home improvement projects.
Jenn - Veterinary Technician, LVT
Jenn joined VDIC in February of 2007 as the Mobile Ultrasound Technician. After becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2008, she now also assists in house with MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Radioiodine Therapy, and the Lab. Prior to coming to VDIC, Jenn spent 4 years in general practice as a Veterinary Technician. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Platteville.
Kahlie - Technical Lead, LVT - Veterinary MRI & CT Technician
Kahlie is a nationally registered CVT. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 1994. She is an active member of the NAVTA, VSPN, VECCS and VetMed Team. Kahlie came to VDIC in July of 2007 having spent time in Emergency Critical Care, Specialty Surgery and Anesthesia, as well as general practice. Her special interest in Veterinary Medicine is anesthesia. Living here in the Great Northwest she enjoys pursuing her hobbies which include scenic photography and hiking.
Karen - Veterinary & CT Technician, LVT
Karen has worked in the veterinary field since 1998. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the College of Charleston and an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology form PCC. She joined VDIC in 2003 after working at an emergency veterinary hospital.
Sara - Veterinary & MRI Technician, LVT

Sara is a nationally registered CVT. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 1998. After several years in general practice, Sara joined our team here at VDIC in 2003. Sara has a special interest in ultrasonography and is one of two scanners for our MRI program, as well as our Assistant Radiation Safety Officer.
Sarah - Veterinary Technician, LVT
Sarah began her career at VDIC in 2001. Her duties include overseeing the slide preparation on all incoming biopsies for VDIC’s cytology service. Sarah also prepares the radiographs for the radiologists in addition to assisting the other technicians with patients. In her spare time, Sarah has been known to leave the sailboat she lives on full-time to teach obedience classes for dog owners.
