Deal unites leaders in the veterinary industry, expanding telemedicine consultation services and customer support
Clackamas, Oregon, August 18, 2009—VDIC, a leading provider of veterinary telemedicine and cytopathology services located here, announces it is combining operations with IDEXX Telemedicine. Based in Westbrook, Maine, IDEXX Laboratories’ telemedicine business has provided cardiology, radiology and internal medicine consultations to the veterinary industry since 1995. D.A. Davidson & Co. served as exclusive financial advisor to VDIC in the transaction.

VDIC Inc. and McAllister Software Systems integrate telemedicine services with AVImark May 2009
Piedmont, MO and Portland, OR – McAllister Software Systems, Inc. and VDIC, Inc. have integrated VDIC’s VetMedStat telemedicine services with version 2009.0 of AVImark veterinary software. Veterinarians can submit radiographs and case requests to VDIC’s network of specialists directly from AVImark, and they can easily store and retrieve current and past cases in their patients’ electronic medical records.
VDIC Inc. Now Provides Customized Ultrasound Training March 2009
VDIC is happy to announce a new service: customized ultrasound training. Tomie Timon, RDMS, RVT, veterinary sonographer has many years experience in training veterinarians, sonographers and physicians in both abdominal and echocardiographic scan techniques. Utilizing VDIC’s VetMedStat, Tomie can review your hospital’s current ultrasound images and based on the findings, customize a training protocol to suit the needs of up to three doctors. Training sessions take place for two to three consecutive days. The VDIC ultrasound training program is limited to clinicians who have had some experience in scanning and have equipment already installed. Either echocardiography or abdominal training is available.

VDIC Is Excited to Introduce our Newest Radiologist to the TeamJanuary 2008
Dr. Dave Kunz joins VDIC as our newest radiologist; his first degree is in technical theater. After having worked on numerous productions and national tours he chose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. After receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2001, he practiced emergency medicine in St. Louis area and entered a radiology residency program in 2002. He completed his radiology residency at University of Missouri in 2006. Dave comes to us after having worked the past year as a radiologist at a specialty hospital near Chicago and is very excited about joining the VDIC team. Dave enjoys all aspects of radiology with a special interest in ultrasound.

VDIC, the leading experts in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine announced expanded hours for its Emergency Teleradiology Service beginning October 1, 2006. Radiologists at VDIC now provide emergency telemedicine consults 365 days a year between the hours of 8am-5pm and 7pm-3am PST. Radiology reports for requests submitted during these hours will be delivered within 3 hours. STAT reports will be delivered in 60 minutes.
VDIC’s telemedicine system is capable of receiving patient information and images from virtually any Digital X Ray, Ultrasound, CT, or MRI modalities.

Dr. Angela Hartman to Join Team at VDIC May 2005
VDIC is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Angela Hartman to our teleradiology team. Dr. Hartman is a Senior Lecturer of Diagnostic Imaging at the Institute of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences at Massey University in New Zealand. Dr. Hartman received her DVM from UC Davis where she also completed her radiology residency. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiologists and will join VDIC in providing radiology services at VDIC.
